Most of you people are already using smartphones, tablets or both of them. If you are looking to buy your first smartphone or tablet or you just want to upgrade the previous one, then the wise choice would be to choose only one of them.
The reason is that both the Smartphone and tablets are not cheap anymore. Secondly, the truth is that you only carry one of the two with you. You cannot carry both the devices especially when you are travelling light.
Sam Murray, a UK mobile phone writer has the following advice:
I would ask you 3 key questions:
- Which features do I really need? – Simply decide what you really need in a phone and what you can live without. You don’t need all the bells and whistles if you’re never going to take advantage of them.
- Which style of phone is best for me? – Touch screen or Qwerty keyboards? With a QWERTY you might find it easier to use when writing messages.
- What size screen do I need? – High end Smartphone with screens of up to 4, 5 or even 6 inches make it easier to watch movies and play games but a large screen will drain your phone’s battery quicker. Smaller screens are more portable.
You need to keep in mind a lot of things before investing in a smartphone or a tablet. First you need to question yourself what to do you need it for. Which size would you prefer to carry? How much would you like to spend?
What Suits you more? A Smartphone or a Tablet?
The main difference between a smartphone and a tablet is the screen size. With the new smartphones this difference is also diminishing. If you cannot make up your mind that which gadget would suit you the best, then you should definitely go for Nexus 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
In case you watch a lot of movies, read books or magazines and enjoy browsing the web, then you should unquestionably invest in a tablet. Although you can do all of these things on a smartphone but you would certainly enjoy doing these more on a tablet on a bigger screen. However, the result of music playback is much better on the smartphones.
If you are a person who travels a lot or who like the convenience of carrying lighter gadgets, then you should undeniably go for a smartphone. Although the new tablets are quite portable but they cannot beat the comfort of carrying the smartphone around anywhere with ease as you just have to take it out of your pocket.
If you like messaging or sending a lot of emails then you should go for a smartphone. With a smartphone you can keep in touch through WhatsApp, Viber and SMS much more easily than a tablet. Although, tablets are also capable of all the above mentioned stuff, however they cannot beat the ease of sending messages through a smartphone.
If you are a person who loves taking photos then again you should buy a smartphone. Tablets have cameras too but their cameras cannot be compared to smartphone cameras. Not only the quality of a smartphone camera is better but they are a lot easier to carry and snap pictures too.
